Niger Delta Has More Than Oil, Says Minister
   


Minister of State, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe has said that natural resources abound in the Niger Delta that can bring revenue far more that what oil and gas presently provides.

Agreed, there are abundant supplies of resources in the wetlands of Niger Delta. However, the most important resources they have is yet to be tapped and that is their enormous human resources. Those smart and brave guys ready to do something for their villages but can’t. Their only option is take arms and fight.

The resources in the ground will finish sometime someday but the human resources are there for life. That’s their strength and the strength of Nigeria.
