THIS WAS JUST GREAT!!and You got to love this guy...
As for the bride and bestman, they got what they deserve or don't you think so guys?

This is a true story about a recent wedding
that took place at Clemson University.
It was in the local newspaper and even
Jay Leno mentioned it.

It was a huge wedding with about 300 guests.
After the wedding, at the reception, the groom got up on stage
with a microphone to talk to the crowd.
He said he wanted to thank everyone for coming, many from
long distances, to support them at their wedding.
He especially wanted to thank the bride's family
and his family and to thank his new father-in-law
for providing such a lavish reception.

As a token of his deep appreciation he said he
wanted to give everyone a special gift just from him.

So taped to the bottom of everyone's chair,
including the wedding party was an envelope.
He said this was his gift to everyone, and asked
them to open their envelope

Inside each manila envelope was an 8x10 glossy
of his bride having sex with the best man.
The groom had gotten suspicious of them weeks earlier
and had hired a private detective to tail them.

After just standing there, just watching the guests' reactions
for a couple of minutes, he turned to the best man and
said, 'F---you!' Then he turned
to his bride and said, 'F--- you!'

Then he turned to the
dumbfounded crowd and said,
'I'm outta here.'

He had the marriage annulled
first thing in the morning.

While most people would have canceled the wedding
immediately after finding out about the affair, this
guy goes through with the charade, as if nothing were wrong.

His revenge--making the bride's parents pay over $32,000 for a
300-guest wedding and reception, and best of all, trashing the
bride's and best man's reputations
in front of 300 friends and family members.

This guy has balls the size of
church bells.

Do you think we might get a MasterCard 'priceless'
commercial out of this?

Elegant wedding reception
for 300 family members and
friends: $32,000.

Wedding photographs commemorating the
Occasion: $3,000

Deluxe two-week
honeymoon accommodations
in Maui : $8,500.

The look on everyone's face
when they see the 8x10 glossy
of the bride humping the best
man: Priceless.

I remember this one.  The action is indeed priceless.

My only comments then against the intention was that it made the groom a subject of ridicule. He didn't take care of the things most important to his bride so his bestman did just that for him.  Something was missing from the relationship and the bestman knew that.

i recall thinking when i first read this thread that there was really no telling the extent that a man will go when he is hurt.
it is said that there is only but a thin line between love and hate and that it is really easy to cross over. well, this is a real life example of the cross over.
the things women and men do!

She will curse the day the finance was born and wish the ground could really open up to swallow her.

Olaseni if you were the one what would you do in the circumstance? Ade said it well. I am sure she will wish she can disappear from the surface of this earth to never see all the wellwisher, friends and families at the wedding again. She probably will relocate to a faraway place away from anyone that ever knows her. At least that is what I will do. Not that I will ever do what she has done to warrant such vengefull act from the groom

Since the affair would have continued anyway, as in the case of Charles and Camilla,I would have told the bride to marry the bestman if they loved each other.......and that, would have been a counter-revenge if I was a family member of the bride.

Lets remember his own people must have been part of the crowd fooled. He must have also bought an engagement ring,a wedding band and a wedding suit! He was right to want revenge but my opinion when this first came out was that he was not smart enough for me.If he ever loved that girl a bit he might turn out to be the loser.Could he have been an angel himself?

Or could've continued the wedding by replacing the groom with the bestman. Nothing lost and that would have been 'priceless' and the perfect counter-revenge.

Ade I'm sure if that were possible and the bestman was willing to commit she probbably would have been walking down the isle with the him rather than the groom.

It is obvious that she finds the bestman sexually more attractive and satisfying than her hubby to be. Or why else would she be having an affair with him in the first place?

Love is a many splendored (splintered?) thing.I cannot count the number of times I wished someone else had been my wife.So also have I thanked God on countless occasion that God actually gave me "the bone of my bone".

My point is that love can be simple and be the most complicated thing in life. She could have loved her husband-to-be while thinking that nothin' go spoil if she do one last contraband run.But I AM HAPPY FOR HER THAT THE NATURE OF THE MAN CAME TO THE FORE THROUGH HIS POIROT-TYPE OF SCHEME BEFORE THE WEDDING.If it had happened after he could have killed her and played another Poirot-type cover-up.

The man truly had his revenge but he also portrayed himself as immature. And  I wish to repeat my earlier question. Was he an angel himself? What he did shows that he was never Farmer Boldwood either!

yes he was hurt and hatred can bring out the deepest feelings and meanest aspect of a person. but the dude could have been respectful of his  family as well as punish the girl and bestman rather than bestow that awful amout of  money for her parents to carry on. perhaps, even cause the breakdown the parent and daughter relation to crumble from blame. Again we are all different and there will be variances in how we react in every given situation. God help us all!
